Can we talk about how far the relationship between these two has fallen?  Thor said “when you betray me, I will kill you.” Not IF. WHEN. As if he already expects Loki, his little brother who he once loved, trusted, and protected, to betray him before they even get started. And Loki, who once wanted so badly to be an equal to his big brother, who used to get angry, to cry and be overwhelmed with emotion because of his fights with Thor, now looks cold and dead inside, uncaring. Their relationship is beyond damaged. It’s broken, shattered. And they both know it’s going to take more that what they have to give to put it back together, so they’ve given up.
